Hi Ted,

Quite an interesting row of 'interop' articles you have written recently :-).

In the same type of 'interop' as this last article of yours, it is actually possible to publish a .NET class as a COM-object, and then use one of the old COM-interop tools from Java to launch the .NET runtime.

One example of this is Stuart Halloways Jawin (I am pretty sure you know both Stuart and Jawin). A couple of years ago I wrote a short proof-of-concept for launching the .NET runtime from Java using Jawin. It is described here http://jawinproject.sourceforge.net/jawinuserguide_net.html
Very fun to do, but I have found absolutely no usage of it since then :-)
